Not a week goes by, without a special request from friends and family. I don’t normally take pictures once I cook in batches as I often don’t have the time, but this morning I got plenty of time to kill before lunchtime pickup. Since I started Busog! Sarap! my camera always resides on top of my freezer, so I thought to myself…what the heck, why not? So here are some of my treats that my auntie requested for me to make.
Mini Steamed Rice Cakes (Mini Puto)
Food for the Gods (Taste like sticky date pudding!)
Filipino Crème Caramel (Leche Flan)
Now that this special request is finished, I can focus now on making posts! Btw, if you find Busog! Sarap! helpful in anyway please do leave some feedback just below the post that interest you. I love to hear from you!

ReplyDeleteWOW! I LOVE THE LOOKS OF THE PACKAGED FOODS...
ReplyDeletehi I want to know how you remove the mini puto from the molds without tearing apart Ive tried to cook your recipe puto espesyal but I used plastic puto mold but it looks messy when I remove from the plastic. Any tips!!!! pls help me
ReplyDelete@Rachel Mae~ sorry about ur puto situation....in my puto experience I've only used non stick mini muffin pans or plain aluminium cake pans and I let it cool for approx. 15-20 mins before lifting the puto out of the moulds/pans. I use my fingers on the edge and if I needed extra lift...I use a butter knife to lift one of the sides and lift it entirely with my fingers. If I need to use the knife again I wipe it clean before lifting another puto.
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for my plastic puto moulds to arrive from the Philippines. Will try my puto espesyal recipe on plastic puto moulds once it arrives around March.
